Great news for you G-Shock fans in London! If you haven’t heard, Casio just recently launched a brand new flagship store — G-Shock West right in the heart of Covent Gardens.

The opening party brought on walls of colorful watches on display, but all eyes were on Krink’s new DW-6900 amongst G-Shock’s newest collabs.

In the recent video of Eminem & Dre’s “I Need A Doctor”, it features a nice collection of many desirable things. One being Dre’s Farrari, and the other, Eminem’s Casio watch. The Farrari doesn’t last however, as Dre’s gets into an almost fatal car crash. Ever think how sweet it would be to be able to paint on your ride? For 5 days, Volvo took that idea and brought in artists from all over the world to paint on their car (Volvo S60). At Glattbrugg in Zurich main station from February 9th to 13th, ten artists gave their piece of mind as they sprayed and styled the same canvas over and over again. Creating ten distinctive and ephemeral works of art, documented by photographer Michel Comte. The performance was said to be thrilling with energy and dynamism, and spectators and the artist created a dialogue (non-spoken), but experienced through this installation and the public space. Artist Wes 21 had the honour of finishing the S60 with the final coat of his creation which will be on display at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 13th 2011. Here are the footage of the event, along with further videos on Volvo’s website.

Collaboration between artists and big brands is becoming increasingly popular especially in the world of watches.
